Lasting Fate Excerpt:

I pull into the drive and the garage is open. I've told Kinzleigh to keep it shut. It's a nice area, but that doesn't mean we don't get strays from time to time looking for easy access to steal. Kinzleigh's mom should be here soon to help her with the baby for a few days. Maybe she's already here. I could use her help so I can get some work done. I'm swamped with projects and a new baby is more work than I thought. I try to give Kinzleigh a break when I get home.
Pulling under my garage door, I park and kill the engine. I grab my satchel that I take back and forth from the office and step out of my beamer. It's been a long day. I grab the knot of my tie and pull, loosening it. When I get to the door my heart drops to my stomach. It's cracked. My first thought is that someone has broken in. I push it open and walk inside. I drop my bag at the door and pick up pace when I hear Bryce screaming at the top of his lungs. A fear I've never known races through my body. What if she's hurt? "Kinzleigh," I call out throughout the house. I get no response. When I make it to the living room Bryce is lying in his bassinet screaming and Kinzleigh is lying on the couch staring off into space like a zombie, ignoring him.
His face is blood red like he's been crying for a while. I reach over and pick him up, pulling him to my chest. "Hey, buddy. Shh, shh, shh. It's okay," I say as I rock him. It's not helping. He's obviously hungry or wet. Hell, I don't know. I've never had a baby before and I'm a guy. I would get cranky if I was hungry. Kinzleigh is breast-feeding, so I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
"Kinzleigh, when is the last time you fed him?" I look over at her, still attempting to calm him down. My ears are stinging from his constant crying. I can't think. She has not even acknowledged I'm in the room. "Kinzleigh, what the fuck?" The only type of response I get from her are tears that fall from the corners of her eyes and they trickle down her nose before dropping onto the leather of the sofa.
"I can't," is all she says and goes back to staring off into space. What the hell does that even mean, she can't?
"You can't or you won't? What happened to you? Are you sick?" He is still screaming, so I reach in the bassinet and get his pacifier, hoping it calms him a little until I can figure out what the hell I'm supposed to do now.
"I can't," she says again. She's not even looking at him. I begin walking towards her in an attempt to see what's wrong and get her to feed him. She closes her eyes before I get there. "Please don't. I can't hold him. Please, take him somewhere else. Please..." I don't understand. She was fine when I left for work. I try to give him his pacifier. We don't have any formula, because she wanted to feed him naturally. How does everything change so drastically in twelve hours?
He takes it for a second before he figures out nothing is coming out of it and spits it back out, now mad as hell. I can't deal with this shit right now. I'm worried about her, because she's not acting right, but I have to get him calmed down first. Pulling out my phone from the pocket of my slacks, I hit one of the contacts in my immediate access list. It rings for a minute before the line picks up. "Preston? It's seven thirty and the sitter just left. Do I need to call her back? Is that Bryce? Is he okay?" Her voice is drowned out by his crying. I walk out of the room with the phone up to my ear. "Hey, Macie. I need your help. It's an emergency. It's about Kinzleigh. You can bring Talon."
"Anything, Preston. Is she okay?"
I peek my head back in the door. She's still lying on the couch in the exact same position she was when I left. She is still staring at the wall blankly, no emotion registering on her face. "I don't think so. I came home and Bryce was screaming in his bassinet. She's just lying on the couch in a vegetative state. She won't hold him. I have no idea when she's fed him last. Can you bring some formula?"
"I think I know what's wrong with her. I'll be right there. Give me fifteen minutes." She doesn't wait for an answer before disconnecting the call. I slide the phone back in my pocket and begin bouncing him slightly while I pat his back. His tiny head is resting against my cheek.
"It's okay, buddy. We'll get your mama fixed, okay? Don't worry. She must have a reason for letting you cry, she has to. You'll love her. She's kind of hard not to love." His cry is dying down, from the exhaustion I'm sure, but not stopping completely. I stand in the doorway watching her. I've never in my entire life seen her like this, not even when her grandmother died. It's like her soul has been sucked from her body, leaving nothing but a hollow woman lying in this big house.
I'm scared to know what that means. I need to talk to Macie. I have a strange feeling I'm losing her. I've never been in love with a girl like I'm in love with Kinzleigh, and I never will be again, but I can't stand seeing her like this. If this is going to be the girl she becomes, then I'll have to make another choice, one that is going to forever destroy me for a woman. I won't trap her. We were happy before he came back. I won't watch her disintegrate and become lifeless to preserve my own happiness.
The realization occurs that if she doesn't get better I may have to let her go. Watching her lay as if she is alive, but dead, is killing me inside. I've never been an emotional guy until I went back to Mississippi that night and saw her the way I did. Something changed in me that night. From that point forward it wasn't about me, but her. I learned that when you love someone, you do what's best for them, even if it isn't what's best for you.
I want to walk over to her right now, but I have to take care of Bryce first. I made a promise to love and take care of both of them. I'm going to keep that promise for as long as I can. Right now I'm scared and I don't know how long I'm going to get to hold onto what has become my family. Just because this child doesn't share my blood, he still shares a piece of my heart. I kiss the top of his head. He finally cried himself to sleep, but he won't be asleep long. Macie should be here soon. I can tell his diaper needs to be changed anyway.
I stare at the girl that captured my heart from the time I was just a teenager. I've really grown into a man from then to now. I rub my thumb back and forth on Bryce's head, above his ear. "I need to leave you for a minute, but I promise I'll come take care of you," I whisper into the air in her direction. "I love you, Kinzleigh." My eyes fill to the brim with tears, but I close my lids before they have the chance to fall. She doesn't have room in her life for someone that can't contain his emotions.
I kiss the top of his head; his baby smell fills my nostrils. "I love you also, buddy." I hold him close to me and begin walking in the direction of the stairs and towards his room. I'm going to savor every moment with the two of them. My brain wants me to believe that I still have them forever, but my heart is preparing me for the worst.
After changing his diaper, I sit in the rocker and start to rock him. Macie walks in with a bottle in hand. She takes one look at me and gets a saddened look in her eyes, more like a look of pity. "You've gotten attached to him, haven't you?"
"Yeah." I am not one of those guys that talk about the emotions fighting against each other deep inside. I prefer to keep to myself. Revealing parts of yourself to others sets you up for gossip and judgment. Coming from a family in the media that was something you didn't do. Kinzleigh is the only person I've ever let in.
"I hope I'm not overstepping any boundaries, because I really like you as a boss and a person, but you know there is only way to fix her, right?" I continue rocking back and forth, staring at the wall before me. I want to know, but at the same time I don't. I'm not sure I want to know the answer, because I think I already do.
"What's that?"
"Preston, you can't fight soul mates. I know you love her, and I really believe she loves you in return, but she's meant for him. His return has changed the rules of the game. Her soul is fighting her, mourning for its other half. A doctor is going to tell you it's postpartum depression, but we both know what's really wrong with her."
I'm getting mad. Things were going great before he came back. I'm not going to be an asshole and say I wish he would've died, because I don't, but she's the only girl I've ever wanted. That should count for something. "So, you think I should just hand her over to him? What kind of a man hands over the only thing he wants in life. I've only ever loved her..."
"I'm saying you should set her free. She made you a promise, and I don't think she's going to break it. Her soul is turning against her, rebelling until she gives it what it wants. As silly as it sounds, I really believe someone can die of a broken heart. Would you rather keep her alive and well or allow her to suffer slowly? If you really love her, prove it, and set her free her from the ropes that bind her. Selflessness, that's the ultimate sacrifice in love."
I look down at the bundle in my arms. I can't let them go yet. I need a little more time. She could still get better. She has to get better. I'm trying to convince myself, but it's not working. Bryce wakes up crying. "Here, give him to me. Talon is watching television in the spare room downstairs. Go tend to her. She needs someone. She looks horrible."
I stand and hand him to her. I watch her sit in the chair, but I can't quit looking at him. "Preston..." I glance up at her. "We'll be fine. I've raised one baby. Go on." I nod and follow instructions, leaving the room. When I get to where Kinzleigh is, she looks worse than she did before. It feels like someone has a hold on my heart and squeezing as hard as they can until it pops.
I get to her and squat down so that I'm at her level. "Kinzleigh," I whisper. Her eyes are void of all life and emotion. She doesn't look at me. It's as if she can't even hear me. Fuck it. I can't take this anymore.
I slide my arms underneath her and lift her, pulling her against my chest. "I'll do whatever I have to do to fix you, Kinz. I promise." I walk her upstairs and into our bathroom, sitting her on the toilet. She slumps slightly, but holds herself up.
"Lift your arms," I state. She does as I say. I remove her shirt and she lowers them back down. I unclasp her bra and remove that too. She is now sitting in just her underwear. I unbutton my shirt and let it fall to the floor. Grabbing the collar of my undershirt, I pull it over my head and toss it down on the other one, forming a pile. I work quickly to unfasten my belt and pants, letting them drop to the floor as well. Stepping out of my shoes and pants in unison, I kick them to the side. Wrapping my arms around her waist, I pick her up and she wraps her legs around me, and then lays her head against my chest. I walk over to the large round tub and step in. Reaching forward and down, I turn the nozzle and adjust the settings until the water is warm.
I sit down as the bathtub fills with water. My eyes fill with moisture again, but this time I let them fall. My heart is breaking, shattering is a more appropriate word. The only things at the forefront of my mind are the things Macie said. I hold her wrapped in my arms and silently cry.
My heart is trying to convince my mind that it's wrong, duking it out on what's best for her. I don't want to let her go. I want to love her each and every day for the rest of my life. I want to give her the world, and be her world, but after seeing how she reacted to him at the hotel that day and seeing her when she told him goodbye, and looking at her now, my mind is overpowering my heart. It's clear that what I want and what she wants are two different things.
I could hold onto her if I wanted, but my love for her guilt’s me, and won't let me do this to her. I feel like I'm being gutted at the realization of what I have to do. I'll never be the same after this. I'll never give my heart to another woman. When I do this I'm defying everything I was taught by giving in. I'm sacrificing my happiness for hers. When her and Bryce go, my heart goes with them.
After holding her in the bathtub and trying to convince myself to go back on my decision, I bathed her and gave her some sleeping medicine from the cabinet. I lay her in the bed and pull the covers over her. It doesn't take her long before her eyes begin to roll in the back of her head and her lids close.
Her cell phone on the nightstand starts to ring. I notice it's an unsaved number. Trying not to wake her, I answer the call. "Hello." The line is silent. "Can I talk to Kinzleigh?"
I look down at her. She is sleeping and looks peaceful for the first time since I got home from work. I'm not waking her. Besides, I'm about to give her over to the bastard anyway; he can let me have a few more hours.
"Now's not a good time," I say.
"Are we really going to play it this way?" He breathes and I walk out of the room, quietly shutting the door. I move far enough away she can't hear me if she wakes.
I need him to stop calling, because what I have to do has to be done in person and I don't need him to worry Kinzleigh until this is done. "She doesn't want to see you, Breyson. Please stop calling." I disconnect the call and throw the phone at the wall, leaving a crack and a now shattered phone.
I run my hands through my hair and rest against the wall, sliding down until I'm sitting on the floor. Leaning my head back I close my eyes.

Meet Charisse Spiers

I developed a passion for reading I never knew I had in November of 2012 when I decided to give eBooks a try. Since then I can't go a day without some form of a book or character running wild through my mind. For almost a year I constantly had a book pulled up on my Kindle app for my iPad. The beauty of self publishing is that you can interact with the authors, which is how I started writing. I never knew I had the creativity to write a novel until I began conversing with another Indie author. If you ever think that Indie authors don't like getting feedback from readers, you are very wrong. I began editing for a fellow author and because she took a leap of faith in me and told me to give writing a shot, I am now an Indie author myself. I cannot tell you how amazing this journey has been. It is hard putting yourself out there for the public eye with all of the reviews that come through, but it's also amazing. I have met some of the most genuine people and people I would consider friends even though I've never met them face to face. I have now published the first two books in the Fate series, Accepted Fate and Twisting Fate and I am starting book three Lasting Fate to be released November 2, 2014. I cannot wait to see where this journey takes me and feel free to interact with me here or on social media. I will respond. :)

A Fighter’s Desire
RELEASE: July 28, 2014
Two is always better than one.
Knowing a fighter’s desires and needs are one thing, but actually experiencing them is another.
A Fighter’s Desire gives you not one, but two stories full of hardcore passion, angst, and action
that’ll leave you breathless and aching for more.
Part One: Ryley and Camden Jameson, well-known MMA fighters and identical twins, were just
as aggressive and passionate in the bed as they were in the ring. They loved a good fight, and
that’s exactly what they got when they met Ashleigh Warren. The brothers had a habit of sharing
things—including women—and she happened to be the only one they truly craved. However,
the problem was getting her to agree to their proposition. It was one she couldn’t refuse, but she
knew it wouldn’t be easy to win. Nonetheless, she sure as hell was going to enjoy it.
Part Two: Fighting temptation isn’t easy when you’re constantly around the one person you’ve
desired more than any other. Gabriella Reynolds was warned by her brother, MMA Heavyweight
Champion Matt Reynolds, to stay away from his friends; they only wanted one thing, and in the
end they’d break her heart. She heard it, but the desire to have the one man she couldn’t led her
down the forbidden path to pursue him; he also happens to be one of her brother’s best friends.
Tyler Rushing can’t deny his attraction to her, and he’s afraid she’ll want more than what he can
give her. When he finds out that’s not the case ... everything changes. They have no choice but
to keep their time a secret, and it’s a secret that’ll stay with them forever.

4 Stars****
I reviewed an ARC in exchange for an honest review

As this is a review of an arc, the author has requested that NO spoilers be given at all......

This book is 2 stories in one book but both stories feature the same characters and the stories do follow on time wise.

In the first part we meet the Jameson twins Ryley and Camden and although they are identical they do have different personalities. However they do share one thing, a love of HOT sex with many women even at the same time. They are known as the hottest MMA fighters on the circuit and have girls vying for their attention constantly. Then they meet Ashleigh. She is more than capable of dealing with the twins and their sexual appetites but can all 3 come out of the first part of their story unscathed and with their hearts in one piece?
I enjoyed reading this first part, the twins are deliciously arrogant, crude and alpha at its best. Ashleigh is a feisty female lead who won't put up with any shit from the twins. It is a battle for control that all 3 think they are in charge of. My only complaint is the length of the story. I was so into reading it then turned the page to read "part 2". I was left wanting so much more and although we do get the characters appearing in part 2 I am sure we will get a continuation of this story at a later date (I hope)!!!!

So on to part 2, Gabriella and Tyler's story. Gabby is Matt Reynolds younger sister. We met and fell in love with Matt in the authors previous book 'Fighting for love'. Matt is very overprotective of Gabby and has one rule, stay away from the other MMA fighters, other than being their friends. All the fighters on the circuit know not to go near Gabby or if they do they will suffer the consequences. It is a shame the one person Gabby wants is so off limits, Tyler Rushing, Matt's best friend and MMA heavy weight title contender. Are Gabby's feelings for Tyler reciprocated? Can these two fight the forbidden love? Is sex more important than friendship?
I loved part 2 of the book, Gabby is not what she seems at all. She is fierce and loyal but also knows how to use her sexiness! Ryley, from part 1 is great friends with Gabby and features quite heavily in part 2. Again, I would of liked more. Would I have preferred part 1 and 2 to be complete separate books with a beginning, middle and end? Yes I think so, but it is always good to be left wanting more.
I love the whole MMA genre and this book did not disappoint. The sex was HOT, the fighters were alpha bad boys and the girls were not weak with sad back stories. So bring on the next book, I am ready for it, ding ding round 2!!!

Barnes and Noble:

“You don’t even know me,” I challenged. “Why do you want me to be your date? You
saw me for one second when you were up in the ring. I could be the biggest bitch in the world for
all you know.”
“That could be true. If you want the honest truth,” he said, gazing down my body, “I saw
you in that red dress and all I could think about was how hot it would be to fuck you in it.”
Holding in my gasp, I tightened my legs together to keep my clit from throbbing out of
control. It pissed me off that my body responded to him, but it could also be because he was so
close; brushing his heated body against mine, and smelling so amazingly delicious. The wild side
of me wanted to tell him to take me right then and there, but the logical side wanted to slap the
shit out of him.
“Do you honestly get women by saying stuff like that?” I asked dryly, without a hint of a
His grin grew wider. “Most of the time. So what do you say? Do you want to be my date
for the night ... the whole night?”
Yes, my mind screamed at me.
“No,” I snapped, making his smug smile disappear. “I’m not one of your little groupies,
Ryley, and I sure as hell am not going to beg for your attention like what you’re used to. You
need to find someone else. I’m not interested.”
You just lied again, I scolded myself.
Turning on my heel, I headed for the door and opened it, only to be stopped by a hand
grasping my arm and the door shutting quickly in front of me. “Don’t you see? I don’t want
anyone else. I saw you and you are what I want.”
Laughing, I turned around and yanked my arm out of his hold. “Tell that to someone
who’ll believe you, Ryley. I don’t fall that easily, especially for someone who hasn’t had to work
for a woman. You’ll have to do much better than that.”
Or else I’m not going to play the game.
“How do you know I don’t care about you in that way?”
“Because it’s you we’re talking about, Ryley. You can have anyone you desire, and the
last thing you’re going to want is to get involved with me. Women follow you around
everywhere, and as much as I think you’re a great guy, I don’t think I could handle it.”
“Do you not think I’m capable of treating you well? To stay faithful?” he asked.
I burst out laughing, but my smile quickly faded when I looked over at him and saw his
serious blue gaze. “You’re kidding, right?” When he shook his head, I sighed and shrugged my
shoulders. “I don’t know, Ryley. From what I know about you and your past with women, I’d
have to say trust would be a main issue. You can’t have a relationship without it.”
“So you don’t trust me.” It came out more as a statement than a question.
Regretfully, I blew out a sigh and said, “No, I don’t ... at least, not with my heart.”
“What Camden said ... is it true? Are you actually worse than him?”
Ryley sighed and took my hands in his, pulling me back to him. “At first I was,” he
admitted. “I’m the one who brought the women to him to help him cope. I’m the one who led
him down that path. I confess I’m not the nicest guy and I sure as hell have never given a damn
about anyone, but I can honestly say that how I’ve been with you right here and now is who I
really am.”
“So after you take me home tomorrow you’ll go right back to the way you were?”
He kissed my palms and smiled. “I don’t know yet, that all depends on you.”
Moving closer, he lightly grazed the strap of my blue tank top with his fingers and let them slide
down my bare arm. “And what about Ryley? What’s up with him being all over you yesterday?”
I bit my lip and smiled triumphantly. “That was just to see if we could get a rise out of
you.” Looking down at his jeans, I said, “And I’d have to say it worked.”
With his hand around my waist, he pulled me in tight against his body and groaned,
letting his cock push into my stomach. “You know this will have to be a onetime thing,
Gabriella. Your brother will kill me if he finds out.”
“Then I guess we need to make sure he doesn’t,” I murmured before closing the distance.
Breathing hard, I stepped out of Tyler’s reach and started for the door, much to his
dismay. “Why are you here, Gabriella?”
Keeping my back to him, I paused with my hand on the knob, and blew out a heavy sigh.
“I told you. When I want something, I get it. I wanted to see you.”
“You’re walking a dangerous line, Gabriella. I don’t do relationships, and I don’t plan on
starting ... even if it is with you.”
I glanced at him over my shoulder. “Well, then I guess it’s a good thing I don’t want one
with you either. Look, Tyler, I’m only here for the weekend. If you want to see me again you
know how to find me. No strings, just you and me.”

"But I thought Peter Pan was an awful, rotten, little boy who refused to ever grow. He was like 12, not 17, whiny, and just downright awful..."

"Sounds like she hit the nail on the head," Justin chuckles again as Aiden and Eiden join him.

Annoyed, he glares at them. "Do you mind?" Once their giggles run out, he sighs. "At some point in time, someone decided that my life story would make more sense if I were younger and worried about not being able to play with toys, blah, blah, blah. Truth be told, there's more to it than that."

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

I really liked the sound of this book from the blurb. It is about Beth who has just graduated high school and is about to embark on her new "grown up" life in college. She is a self proclaimed book nerd, very academic and wants to study education in college. She is very naïve, especially around boys and has to deal with both her over protective father and Lucy her best friend judging her decisions.

She meets Harvey who is 22 and who has just come out of rehab for alcoholism. Harvey is a general bad boy and has been in trouble with the law.
Of course Beth notices his good looks and is intrigued by him even though she is warned off him.

This story focuses on Beth maturing into a woman and Harvey trying to put the pieces of his life back together. Can he battle his demons and move on to a happily ever after with Beth? Will Beth learn to accept Harvey and his bad life decisions or will she take the safer college boy boyfriend that will please her friends and family?

I couldn't really get into this book. I just felt there was something lacking. Harvey's back story that explained his behaviour was not revealed until around half way through the book. Beth's character lacked depth for me and annoyed me at times. The second half of the book did pick up pace but with the chapters going back and forth between Harvey and Beth I felt this made the story slightly disjointed.

I was enjoying reading the story and at around 70% thought "oh no, we have a cliff hanger coming up"! There was no way I felt the story could have been concluded with the time left in the book. For me, one minute Beth was thinking she was in love with another and their relationship was getting stronger. I would have love to get an insight into this relationship and it's demise

Harvey's back story is heartbreaking and is described very well by the author, but the bad choices he made had me screaming at times!

My fears of a cliff hanger were unfounded. The story did have a conclusion of sorts but did end very abruptly with no epilogue. Maybe this leads the way for a second book!

For me, this book was more Y/A than N/A. It is not your stereotypical good girl meets bad boy story of healing each other's issues and I applaud the author for the direction the story went in with a few surprising twists and turns. In fact in the end I was left with wanting more and I believe a second book to continue Beth and Harvey's story would be a very good read.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is the second book in the Viper Series by Kirsty- Anne Still.
The Runaway Viper starts off right after Saturdays at the Viper Rooms. Joely and Jace are on the run and for the time being enjoying life away from the Viper Rooms. They never stayed in one place for too long in hopes to put Clara off her hunt for her head Viper girl. They soon found out that Clara was always one step ahead of them.
I felt that the beginning of this book was a little slow for my liking. I understand the story was to help have an insight into the lives of Joely and Jace after they ran away however I found the tale of their life medicore. I kept pushing through because I knew how much I loved the first book plus I wanted to see who would put a kick to Clara's behind.
In this book, we see the downfall of the once highly sorted after head viper girl. The things that Joely endured all in the name of love was unbelievable. Joely was broken and fighting to keep her spirit alive as Clara literally puts Joely and Jace through hell. Broken? Maybe! Did she give up? You will have to read The Runaway Viper to find out.
Let me say when the action started the pages started to burn up. The heart wrenching events, the love that Joely and Jace shared was felt through the pages. I honestly could not stop reading once I got sucked into the story.

Kirsty-Anne does a great job in creating characters that are loveable, caring and very good support systems for the main characters. I've always love this storyline because of it's unique subject. I sit here waiting patiently for the day when Clara falls from her throne(I dislike this woman greatly).
The Runaway Viper was also filled with some twist and turns that had me saying out loud ”WTF”. Despite everything that Joely went through I loved that she was still kind to others.
I always want more Jace. I just want them to have their happily ever after and hopefully the author will hear my cry lol.
Read The Runaway Viper to see some relationship mended, hearts broken, vindictive females and a couple that goes through hell and back all in the name of love.
“What’s got you looking distant?” Jace comes out from the bathroom, covered only by a towel.
I look up and smile guiltily. “When did I become such a snob? ” I ask him, keeping my tone light. I’m arguing with my inner self, appalled at my own mental path. “The bedding to this place is going to have us itching all night.” I train my eyes upon him and sigh. “When did that become one of my biggest problems?”
Jace laughs at my problem and my faces pulls into a frown.
“If cheap sheets are your biggest problem right now, Lee, I am going to sleep a happy, happy man tonight.” He watches me, seeing my shoulders slump slightly under his teasing tone. “Maybe you could inspect the quality of towels too,” he queries, waltzing over to me. He pulls the front off from his body, holding out to me. “They’re rather stiff.”
I bite my lip and allow my eyes to trail down his partially glistening body and find the towel parted a delicious amount. I can already see he is hard and I release my lip. My mouth dries as I reach out for the flannel material and I feel lust filter through my system, stealing my woes and casting them aside.
I smirk at the sight, grinning like a Cheshire cat. “Definitely stiff.” I nod and agree and release the towel. Jace does too and the white flannel sheet drops entirely, leaving my husband bare and turned on before me. “Really stiff,” I exhale, my breathing drawing thin. His penis is directly within my eye level and I can’t help but lick my lips.
Jace doesn’t even utter a word as he reaches out for me. He takes my hand, mock disgust smother his face as he gazes upon what little I have on. “You’re a little too overdressed for my liking,” he speaks with minor revulsion as he pulls me up to my feet.

“You and I know I can’t say no.” I swallow my fear and allow my eyes to fall down to his chest, I can’t look at him. “And I can’t lose you.”

She knows the rules of the club and the way the boss works like no other, but she is the one breaking everything she knows in order to keep the new life she has. After running from her past, she’ll do anything to stay away from it. It’s what makes her perfect for the job. It’s what makes her normal.

The Viper Rooms gives the exclusive a time in their life to get the things they need from a club devoted solely to them. No strings attached, no questions asked. But what lies beneath the surface can’t always be stopped. It can’t be silenced forever.

I used to be just another Fanfiction writer! That was until one person showed real interest in my work. And then another, and then another, until I had this whole group of people reviewing like crazy and wanting original work from me. I’d spent years writing for free online, I didn’t believe I had it in me to publish something!
But I’m glad I did!! I never imagined pushing my work and striving to reach my ultimate. I never imagined I’d be the girl who started The Viper Rooms! But who am I to deny the inspiration when it hits?

I love writing, it’s a lifeline. I love creating a world that others fall into. I love having the control to make a whole new world. It’s like a dependency, an addictive one. It’s one of the things I’m extremely proud of.

As much as I complain, I love the mini dialogues that go on in my head, the plotlines that attack me when I least expect them to. The ones that jump to life at the most inappropriate times and drive me totally crazy!!
For now I split my life between writing, dreaming, working, and volunteering with children.
