We are so pleased to reveal the cover for Reparation, the final book in The Kane Trilogy releasing on December 8th. Has the Devil met his match? Check out the giveaway below. Good luck!!!

Synopsis

The Devil has met his match
When Tatum O'Shea decides it's time for some payback, no one is safe from her new game - not even the devil himself. Tate is going to get her happily ever after, even if it means making everyone else unhappy in the process. But a persistent Jameson, a meddling Sanders, and an amorous baseball player make it very hard for a girl to keep her focus, and suddenly it seems Tate has a few too many suitors for her fairy tale ending. Sometimes, it's very difficult to tell who Prince Charming really is ... WARNING: may induce Kindle throwing, screaming at fictional characters, and possibly a few tears. Also graphic sexual situations and sadomasochistic themes.

Jameson watched the Bentley pull up the driveway. Sanders got out of it, alone. They hadn't spoken the entire time. Jameson hadn't called – if he had, he probably would've lost his shit. And he didn't want to do that. Sanders probably hadn't called for the very same reason. “Nice little vacation you had there,” Jameson commented, taking in Sanders' rumpled suit. “I wouldn't say that,” the younger man replied, heading into the house and straight into the kitchen. Jameson followed him. “I almost thought you had left with her,” he voiced his fear. Sanders stopped in front of a cupboard. “I would never do that. I simply tried to reason with her,” he said. “Oh really. And how did that go?” Jameson snorted. Sanders snorted as well and pulled open the cupboard. “Not well. She is severely unbalanced.” Jameson was a little shocked as he watched Sanders pull a bottle Jack Daniel's out of the cupboard. He walked up next to him, watched as Sanders got a tumbler out of another cupboard and then poured about three-fingers worth of the amber liquid into the glass. “She's also a bad influence. What are you doing?” Jameson demanded. Sanders handed the glass to him. “This is for you,” he replied. Jameson took the glass. “Oh god, why?” he groaned, then knocked back the liquid. “She offered to sleep with me.” Jameson started choking on the whiskey. Sanders pounded on his back, but Jameson waved him away. Stumbled over to the sink and turned on the faucet, stuck his mouth underneath it. He must have heard wrong. He couldn't believe it. “I'm sorry,” he gasped for air, leaning against the counter. “You'll have to repeat that. What happened?” “Sex. She offered to have sex with me.” “I see. Did you take her up on this offer?” Pause. Oh my god. I have to kill Sanders. How am I going to do this? That stupid bitch ...

I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT. I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me. Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

blurb
RELEASE DATE: DECEMBER 2, 2014
It was suppose to be a debt settled, just a price being repaid.
Instead love was born...
...from unpaid dues it bloomed.
See, that's the funny thing about love, you never expect it.
After losing her mother to cancer a few months prior to graduating, Bree Forbes was finally able to take some time away and enjoy her college days. That all changed in a blink of an eye the moment Bree came home for break. She didn't expect to find her dad strapped to chair, a gun pointed at his head.
Alzerro “Zerro” King wasn't a man to be messed with. Women flocked to him and men ran from him. He ruled the mafia with an iron fist and no one ever crossed him unless they wanted to pay the price. He believed the only way to pay for something, if unable to do so, was to do it in blood. Nothing got him harder than stringing someone up, and putting a bullet in their head.
That is until Bree.
One look is all it took for him to know she could pay for her father’s debt in many other ways… Ways that could get him hard.
Could a big city mafia king fall in love with the small town country girl? Would she be able to handle his dark and demanding ways? When push comes to shove, would Bree end up running only to be killed? Or would she sacrifice herself for love?

WHAT GOODREADERS ARE SAYING:
“ Alzerro “Zerro” King.. my God! That man is just.. don't know how to describe him. Take Q from Monsters in the Dark, take Caleb from Captive, take Fox from Destroyed, take Antonio Spinelli from Spin and Jessie from This Man and you have our Zerro. Mind blowing, right?! “ - Arijana
“ Bree is the epitome of innocence...or is she? Her depth of character, compassion, and comprehension of life's challenges have been hard earned. The love and loss she has endured will serve her well as she offers up her life to 'el ray' in a valiant exchange and effort to save her father from certain death. Never did she expect to lose her heart to a man she finds repulsive and without remorse. But the heart wants what it wants...and one can discover the darker aspects of themselves when placed in certain situations. “ - Jennifer
“ It’s a rough journey and it’s a dark story. There’s no fluff or gentleness. There’s just blood, sweat, and tears. You really need to have an open mind to understand every emotion you will feel. If you’re one of those people who only like reading fluffy HEAs, then this story is not for you. It’s gritty, toxic, violent, but among the violence and killings, love blooms. But it's betrayal and lies that will end those rare moments of happiness for Alzerro & Bree *sniff*. Indebted left me anxious, betrayed, angry, upset, hurt, lost, & empty. I am but a shell, waiting for book 2 after being utterly consumed by book 1 *sigh*. “ - Wendy

Bend don't Break

Skye Callahan

Genre: Dark Erotic Romance
Available November 18, 2014

Synopsis

I thought I was done.
my End
I couldn’t take my eyes off her as the bullet tore through me, leaving me with nothing but the hope that I had done enough to save her. The darkness tried to engulf me—to brand me as its own and drag me to my fate.
my Darkness
Waking to see her tear-stained face above me was enough to make my heart stutter. I was alive and free from that place—but not from the toll it had taken on my mind and body.
my Strength
My story should have ended, but one woman kept standing in the way of that. The only way I could have her was to find a way to put the darkness to rest.

Excerpt #1

“She’s fine,” Dr. Combs assured me. “But I don’t think it would be in the best interest for either of you to see each other. You put yourself in a dangerous situation with her.”
Put myself? Last I checked I wasn’t the one to drag her into the Retreat. “I kept her alive and slightly less broken than she would have otherwise been.”
“The two of you adapted to a horrible situation, found comfort in each other—”
I didn’t want to hear it.
Stockholm Syndrome.
I wondered if the captor could get it, too. Was I even the captor? It seemed like I’d lost control of the situation long ago.
But I’d still been the one to beat her, rape her, bend her will.
Just like she’d bent mine.
I wanted her back so bad I couldn’t breathe. The more we talked about it, the worse it got. The harsh reality of it all forced me to face the possibility that I had to walk away if I wanted to do what was in her best interest.
“How long until I can talk to Trent?” I tried again, drawing back a modicum of control by changing the course of the conversation.
Dr. Combs sighed and snapped her portfolio closed. “If it’ll get you to talk, I’ll make the arrangements on one condition.”
I’d already sold my soul, there weren’t many more concessions I had left to give.
“I need to know you’re not going to try to reach out to Rose—or anyone else.”
Did that mean there was a chance she’d see me? Or was Dr. Combs convinced I’d stalk and abduct her anyway? That was quite a laughable possibility, but some sick-as-fuck part of me considered it.

Book Trailer

Excerpt #2

She came around the corner on hands and knees, and I saw her face visibly pale as soon as she saw the chain in my hands, but she approached anyway. Stubborn, belligerent, and brave.
Three traits that’d get her killed.
I dropped the chain to the floor next to the bed. “Come up here.”
She paused, but finally climbed onto the bed and straddled my lap as I directed, and damned if I didn’t feel like I was losing it. The bruises from her encounter with Gabe’s buffoons were starting to set in, but she pulled back and shut herself off as I examined her.
Such a degrading way to make sure nothing was broken, but if she didn’t believe my act, no one else would either. I realized the plug in her ass was probably growing even more uncomfortable with time, especially if she hadn’t experimented with them before.
Not that I could ask since I wasn’t supposed to care.
“Hate me all you want, Sugar,” I said, hoping to get her to walk a fine line between trust and fear where she might listen. “I’m the only ally you have.”
“Ally…?” she whispered, “You’re going to hurt me.” Her eyes filled again, but she blinked it away and held back just like she had in the basement, and I couldn’t face her any longer.
“I am,” I lifted her off of me, flipping her over. “Ass up.”
Even though she kept up her protective walls, I saw her body visibly relax when I pulled the plug free and sat it on the side table. It was going to be hard enough for her to kneel through dinner. I hoped the threat of it might make her more compliant.
The mix of vulnerability countered with her impossible stubbornness had an aphrodisiac effect on me. I had been convinced this was the only way we’d survive, but for the first time, I truly considered the effect it was going to have on both of us.

Ten Fun Facts

  1. I love cars, and I write most of my books while watching Top Gear. I’d prefer the sound of an Aston Martin over any music sound track.
  2. I once based a character in a story on my husband, and the character died. He never lets me live it down, but don’t bother trying to figure it out, I never released that book.
  3. I’m not terribly good at being girly–I don’t wear makeup, only own 4 pairs of shoes, and I’ve never had a manicure.
  4. I learned to handle a gun before I learned long division.
  5. While most of the people in my graduate research classes were buried in books, I was glued to the TV researching the evolving portrayal of “Indianness”.
  6. I have a phobia of crickets.
  7. Yuengling is my weakness.
  8. I have penguin stuff everywhere--even a penguin snuggie because I couldn’t resist.
  9. I enjoy long walks in the cemetery.
  10. Nearly everyone in my family has seen a ghost in the hallway in the house I grew up in, and I was told by a Bigfoot expert that the sounds I used to hear outside my bedroom at night were likely the cries of Bigfoot.

My Review
5 out of 5 stars
I was so excited when I heard that Skye Callahan was writing Bend, Don’t Break. It is the second story to Irrevocable and told in James point of view. You have to read Irrevocable before you read this one.
Bend, don’t break takes you on a ride and it hooks you from the beginning. When I read the first book I felt the ending was a little rushed and you did not get a whole lot of what happens with James and Rose.  Bend, Don’t Break helps you find out more with their relationship. It also ties up the story very well.
The retreat James was at really took its toll on him. I loved him in the first book because he was all about saving Rose from the horrors of the retreat. In this book you really see what James went through by being there. I felt so bad for him and I can see where his issues come from.
Rose and James both have issues that they have to work through and you get to see them work through the issues.  What I loved about Bend Don’t Break was the plot. It had you on edge and was suspenseful.  Both characters were strong in this book just like they were in the first book. Sometimes I feel like Characters in second books are washed out or not very strong. That doesn’t happen in Bend, Don’t Break
I am a huge fan of Dark romance stories. Skye Callahan did not disappoint me in this book.  She has an amazing way of writing a story and making you feel you are a part of it. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes Dark Romance books.

Synopsis

Sometimes when you can’t go back, the only way out is to descend into the darkness.
my Captor
When I woke in that place, I just wanted to survive. But survival came at a cost, for which they demanded my will and body.
         my Master
With pain came acceptance. Fully-dependent on the man who claimed me, I learned to appreciate what I had-life and relative safety.
                   my Protector
I watched him spill blood and tend my injuries. With betrayal came a revelation.
The only way out was to bring them all down or die trying.

Excerpt:

“Did you force her to have sex with you?” My hands clenched at my sides twisting and curling the thin hospital sheets. “Not then.” I tried to think about anything else, but my mind betrayed me and jumped straight to that night. My heart went into overdrive, fueling the anger that already tainted my blood and sending it to the deepest part of my brain. That first day. It seemed like it had happened years ago, only because so much had changed since the day I’d first seen her in the basement of the Retreat. “When? Another day—or night,” Dr. Combs continued prying. “Second night—only because it would’ve been Ross if not me.” “How did she react to that?” I blew out a puff of air. “I got her off if that’s what you’d like to know.” Dr. Combs scowled. “See there,” I said, laying my arm over my eyes. “You don’t really want to hear about it any more than I want to talk about it.” “Be crude all you want. I’m not judging—” I slammed my hand down on the bed to stop her lie. “Don’t fucking give me that. I was there. There is no fucking way in hell anyone hears about the things I did without some kind of opinion. I’m the bastard, the abuser, rapist, villain, liar, thief—and I get away with it all as far as the law and any official judgment are concerned. I’d be utterly convinced that I’m guaranteed a spot in the deepest pit of Hell if I wasn’t holding on to the slim hope that the time I’ve already spent there was enough to burn away my sins—at the very least it might have burned away my soul, in which case it won’t matter much once I die because there won’t even be anything left.” She smiled—of all the fucking reactions in the world, she smiled at that? “Finally getting an honest reaction. I do believe that’s the most you’ve said all week.” I scowled, the distasteful sting of bile assaulted my mouth. “You’re a gem, you know that?” “Back to the topic. Tell me what happened.” “When?” I was done fighting, only because the smile told me that she was quite possibly more sadistic than me. “Pick a night.”
