REVIEW~ Paper Hearts by Claire Contreras

BLURB:

I lost her.

No, I didn't lose her. I threw her away.

She was my best friend.

I was never supposed to fall in love with her.

I was careless.

She was heartbroken.

I was doing fine until she came back into my life and reminded me what love was supposed to feel like.

When it's all said and done, she may not want to stay, but this time I'm going to do everything in my power to not let her go

REVIEW

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

If you are thinking about reading Paper Hearts, I would recommend reading Torn Hearts (prequel novella) which is currently free. In Torn Hearts we learn of Jensen's mistakes and get a look into the downfall of the relationship/friendship between Mia and Jensen.
With the above being said, this was another great book by Claire. Every single book she has written is golden and I loved every single minute of Paper Hearts.

Paper Hearts is told from Mia's point of view. We hear Jensen's voice through his columns which I loved by the way.  'Jensen Talks' was so heartfelt, comical and I love that I got to see his true feelings. Raw and Uncut!

Jensen and Mia's story wasn't perfect but this is what grabbed me and made me fall in love with them. From the beginning they had so many huddles to jump, so many emotions were denied but in the end, love conquered all.

“Real love stories never end”

Claire Contreras always creates characters that you can't help but loving. Even though Jensen gets himself in hot water, I loved him. I am going to say that I loved Jensen a little more than Oliver.

“Fragments of my soul were scattered on those pages... and you burned them”

“Come back to me, my little road Runner, my world is cold and boring without you”

Overall, this story of second chances was well written, characters were great and best of all the writer made you feel every single emotions running across the pages. I loved it and I can't recommend this book enough to my friends.
