I received an ARC for an honest review.
I fell in love with Xavier aka Phenomenal X in the first book. I was so excited to finally pick up Xavier Cold and finish Xavier and Ann’s story. The first book ended with a cliffhanger and you were left wanting more. One thing I love about Michelle’s book is that she is able to catch your attention and making you want more.
Xavier cold and Anna have some pretty big hurdles to overcome in this book. Xavier never let me down once. He is scared of his childhood and it has an effect on him. He doesn’t think he is worthy of anything good really. You can see the pain he is in with his past and he doesn’t want to bring Anna down with him. He struggled with this in the first book and even more in Xavier Cold.
I loved Anna in both the books. She was such a great character. A little naive at times but nothing that really bothered me. She loves Xavier and wants to make him see that he is the man that deserves everything even her.
What I loved about this book is you get to see the struggles these two have to face. Its life and it’s not all happy ever after. You see the fight they go through just to be with each other. I would highly recommend this book to anyone but you have to read Phenomenal X first.
