My life had a plan. Until he invaded it and stole it all away. My captor took me and I became a pawn.
His strategy changed and he sent me away to WAR, because money is everything in this world.
In my WAR, though, I found peace.
I couldn’t help but find love where I least expected it, with a man who lived a battle every day of his life
…all inside his head.
But then my captor came back for me.
Yet, this time, battle lines had been drawn and I was protected.
So we thought.
Even though my WAR was raging,
my captor would fight to the death.
The good guys always win, right?
All’s fair in love and WAR, right?
Not this time.
Warning:This is War, Babyis a dark romance. A really dark one. So dark you’re going to
wish you had a flashlight to see yourself to the end and someone to hold your hand. Human trafficking,
dubious consent, and strong sexual themes that could trigger emotional distress are found in this story.
This story is NOT for everyone.
One man stripped of his freedom, his morals...his life.
in captivity to maim, to kill and to slaughter, prisoner 818 becomes an
unremorseful, unrivaled and unstoppable fighter in the ring. Violence
is all he knows. Death and brutality are the masters of his fate.
years of incarceration in an underground hell, only one thought
occupies his mind: revenge...bloody, slow and violent revenge.
Revenge on the man who lied.
Revenge on the man who wronged him.
on the man who condemned him and turned him into this: a rage-fueled
killing machine. A monster void of humanity; a monster filled with hate.
And no one will stand in the way of getting what he wants.
One woman stripped of her freedom, her morals...her life.
Volkova is the only daughter of Kirill ‘The Silencer’ Volkov, head of
the infamous ‘Triad’ bosses of New York's Russian Bratva. Her life is
protected. In reality, it’s a virtual prison. Her father’s savage
treatment of his rivals and his lucrative and coveted underground
gambling ring—The Dungeon—ensures too many enemies lurk at their door.
She dreams to be set free.
has known only cruelty and loss in her short life. As manager of her
father’s death match enterprise, only grief and pain fill her days. Her
mafia boss father, in her world, rules absolute. And her fiancé, Alik
Durov, is no better; the Dungeon’s five-time champion, a stone-cold
killer, the treasured son of her father’s best friend, and her very
own—and much resented—personal guard. Unrivaled in both strength and
social standing, Alik controls every facet of Kisa’s life, dominates her
every move; keeps her subdued and dead inside...then one night changes
While working for her church—the only reprieve in
her constant surveillance—Kisa stumbles across a tattooed, scarred, but
stunningly beautiful homeless man on the streets. Something about him
stirs feelings deep within her; familiar yet impossibly forbidden
desires. He doesn’t talk. Doesn’t communicate with anyone. He’s a man
beyond saving, and a man she must quickly forget...for both their sakes.
But when weeks later, out of the blue and to her complete
surprise, he’s announced as the replacement fighter in The Dungeon, Kisa
knows she’s in a whole lot of trouble. He’s built, ripped and lethally
unforgiving to his opponents, leaving fear in his wake and the look of
death in his eyes.
Kisa becomes obsessed with him. Yearns for
him. Craves his touch. Needs to possess this mysterious man...this man
they call Raze.

Reap is being release in a
few days and that gave me the push I needed to finally read this book
and take it off my TBR list. I have been a Tillie Cole fan for a while
and this just proved why I love her so much. Tillie writes superbly and
draws you into her stories, Raze was no different.
had my heart pounding like crazy and I honestly didn't know if I could
survive some of the intense scenes. I lied, I survived and I did
From the first page into this story I just knew my
heart would be tugged at. Raze is an exceptional cage fighter who is
strong and deadly. I enjoyed seeing his determination in finding the one
that put him in 'Hell' as Raze called it. His determination to
find the person who condemned him lead him back to a place he did not
know he belonged too.
I don't want to talk about this book too
much because so many secrets, lies and connections with the characters
were reveal. I would hate to spoil it for anyone however Kisa and Raze
are just cute together. Their love is intense and never ending. Overall,
this is a must read story. It is gut wrenching, intense, unique love
story. Expect guts and deadly cage matches. This book is not for someone
with a weak heart. Take a chance on Raze and watch him fight not only in the ring but to get his life back and get the girl he never knew he had.
We all play victims to our pasts; to the choices we make and the lives we create.
They define who we are.
And sometimes if we're lucky enough, the past stays where it belongs: in the past.
I'm not one of the lucky ones.
I never have been.
Because now the past is knocking on my door, offering deals I have
no choice but to take… deals that will help bring justice—not just for
me, but for my brothers.
The deal is a ticking time bomb.
One I didn't know existed.
Natalie received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
book is just jam packed with oodles of mystery and guilt to keep you
going the whole way through. The Synopsis of this book really does not
give a hint to what is going to happen and I think that was the reason
why I didn't pick this book up earlier. Written from dual point of view
for both Madison and Kyler (although mainly Ky) it allows us insight
into both main characters.
is just so much going on in this book that leaves you guessing as to
who each of these characters really are. It is a good pace to keep you
interested and there are several different things happening within the
plot also. I found myself loving the other characters more than Madison
and Kyler. Christine seems like such and awesome and bad ass woman. Jax
seems a little stuck in the past. Nate made me want to get to know him
more and I feel there is a bigger story to know about him. I even want
to see more of Dr. Aroma.

Kimberly is a stay at mom of four crazy beautiful children. She lives in New Jersey with her husband of ten years and enjoys every minute of her never dull life. She loves a good book that is impossible to put down and you will most likely find her reading in her downtime, unless of course, there is a football game on.
Their mother was the Angel of Protection. Their father was a soldier of the Underground. No one ever thought a demon could love an angel, but when their parents met, it was love at first sight. They fought their attraction until it was too much to take. When God, and the Devil himself, found out about the pregnancy, they fled to protect themselves and their unborn child. But when the pain of labor was over, instead of one baby, there were two; hybrid twins.
Cyrus and Joey are fraternal twins and the product of this forbidden love between ultimate good, and ultimate evil. When their parents are slain immediately following their birth, the twins are given refuge inside of a convent by a kind, but no-nonsense, priest with a penchant for slaying demons. The priest trained the twins from a young age to kill off an entire race that they themselves descend from.
Now, nineteen years later, Cy and Joey leave the convent for the first time to investigate a series of rapes and murder happening at a college campus hours from the only place they’ve ever known or called home. Trying to navigate in this new world of school, parties, and the allure of the opposite sex, the twins quickly learn that being human isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. As they struggle with the feelings that come with falling in love, they both fight a battle from deep within. Will their love be enough? Will their own personal vendettas pull them in the wrong direction? But the question that plagues them most – are they good, or evil?
Shelly is an Iowan girl. She now resides in the town she was born and raised in. Having three children, it’s hard for her to have any down time, but when she finds it, you can find her holed up somewhere reading her next steamy book in a long list of books in her virtual library or writing her next story.
She is the author of the Forsaken Sinners MC series, with her first book being released in February of 2015. Even though this is an MC series, she has plenty more ideas, so look out for more than just biker novels from her in the future.
Shelly became fast friends with Geri before she even released her first book, but through their friendship they both decided to delve into the jar of Paranormal. It’s been a lot of work, but such a ride so far, she’s actually sad to see it end. But she knows that with the end of this book, it’s not the end of the journey, it’s just the beginning. She hopes you enjoy it as much as she and Geri enjoyed writing it.
Geri is a Canadian girl, born and raised. She’s a military wife, mother of two and devourer of words. She can often be found reading a good book, magazine or any shampoo bottle within reach. She is the author of the Kings of Korruption MC series, with her first book being released in August of 2015. A sucker for any type of alpha male, Geri refuses to be tied to one genre.
Writing this book with Shelly has been a welcome challenge and a ton of fun. She hopes you love Cyrus and Joey as much as she and Shelly do!
His eyes darted to the side, and he noticed me standing there. We just stared at each other. It was ironic, but the only times I could ever feel the remnants of our old connection were in fleeting moments of silent eye contact. Sometimes moments of silence spoke the loudest.
I left him alone again, making my way back down the hall and into the restaurant to tend to the customers I’d been ignoring.
Things really started to get busy. Without Jade working tonight, we were short-staffed, and I was having a hard time keeping up with the orders. Sandy’s had indoor and outdoor seating. Normally, I would only be working one section, but tonight I was going back and forth between the two.
It was nice out, so I knew they would have Justin performing outside. I kept glancing over to the small stage to see if he was there. It was past eight, and he hadn’t made an appearance yet.
Sometime close to eight-thirty, I was in the middle of serving a large party of ten when I first heard it: the chilling sound of a soulful voice that was not familiar in the least. He gave no introduction. No warning. He just started to sing out the first few words, followed by the strum of his guitar. The song that Justin had chosen to start with was a cover of Ain’t No Sunshine by Bill Withers.
The entire room soon quieted down, and all eyes were on the stunning blond male specimen with the spotlight shining down on him. Despite the fact that I was carrying a large round tray of dirty dishes, I couldn’t move. The vibration of his thick, smoky singing voice had completely paralyzed me, penetrating my body and soul.
Aside from the lone teardrop that fell the night he lost it on me during steak dinner, I hadn’t shed any more tears—until now. It was all too much. Hearing how different his voice sounded, how he’d trained it over the years, was a wake-up call as to how much I had missed. All of the hours of practice that must have gone into honing that beautiful voice, and I wasn’t there for any of it. The guilt, the emotions, the reality of a decade gone…everything started to pummel me at once. Not to mention the song—about a girl leaving. It probably had nothing to do with me, but in my mind, it sure as hell felt like it did.
