Normally
I don’t take warnings that comes with a book too seriously. I find that
I am always left wanting more darkness in the book but damn Author K.
Webster shut me right up. This book was so dark, so twisted and
mysterious that I almost found myself dry heaving at certain parts. I
loved every minute of it though. Does that make me sick?.... Maybe but I cannot
deny that this was mind boggling.
This is War Baby is the first book I've read from Author K. Webster. What a great way to make an impact on a new reader. This story has mostly dual point of view.
This author and this book is remarkable. It’s heart wrenching, mysterious and scary as shit. I found myself sick to my stomach after reading certain parts. I am not sure if I can eat a cucumber for a while..
I read this book in one sitting and called in sick the next day because well… I wasn’t ready to face the world. My heart was twisted around this amazing story. So many questions as to what the hell is up with her parents? Can someone kick her captor’s ass already? So so many questions and I can’t wait for them to be answered in the next book. Be aware that there is a cliffhanger that made me read the last couple pages twice. I can’t breathe, it can’t be. noooooooooooooo
Overall, the characters were pretty out of this world. So many issues came to the surface but most of all there was a love story under all the twisted events which I loved.
